First of all, my friend and i were greeted by a very friendly lady at the desk of Bear Cove Falls Spa. We found the surroundings to be extremely appropriate for a spa in the mountains. The log cabin was charming. Our facials were good, not great, but were exactly what we were wanting – relaxation. Our aesthetician was very concerned that we were kept warm (warming pad felt so good since it was rainy and cold outside) and comfortable. Overall, it was a very good experience, and we will definitely return.
After stumbling across some negative reviews on Tripadvisor.com I was a little leary of the level of service that I would be getting… BUT I was greatly impressed with the staff at the spa. Everyone was very warm and friendly. We were greeted by a member as soon as we stepped in the door and promptly escorted into the couples suite. I found the cabin to be very clean and inviting.
Our two massage therapists came in before and consulted with us then left the room as we prepared. When they re-entered they were very professional and offered very relaxing swedish technique. My therapist really worked out some tension in my neck and shoulders. After the massage my partner and I enjoyed the tray of cheese and fruits. Everything was great and everyone was so nice and welcoming.
I booked the European facial for my wife as a surprise. She said it was a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly. The atmosphere was calming and relaxing. The facial exceeding her expectations. Would recommend The Spa at Bear Falls Cove to anyone interested in a spa treatment.
Excellent Highly Recommend. Whether couples massage or spa and wedding parties a 9.5 out of 10 on behalf of me and all of our cabin guests.This is the most accurate review area from my personal experience. I have been frequenting this spa for over 8 years now. I come several times a year, and if there is anything wrong(Rare) they fix it. I would rate 9.5 of 10 for all the years experience. My husband and I own several cabins with visitor journals, and we keep Brochures and recommend this Spa to all of our guests and I wish you could see the hundreds of handwritten thanks for suggesting the spa from large parties to couples retreats. I will continue to go and Refer our guests to the spa.
My wife and I had the deluxe couples message, at the Bear Cove location and we loved it. The fruit and cheese tray, hot tub, and the shower after was great. We got really relaxed afterwards. We would recommend this to anyone visiting the area, it was great, Thanks….
I sent my wife to the Spa at Bear Cove Falls, even after reading some of the terribly negative chatter on tripadvisor.com. I picked up my wife from nearly 5 hours of different spa treatments and I must say that those negative comments were wrong. My wife never enjoyed herself more! The ladies did a wonderful job of making her feel relaxed and pampered. She had a Swedish massage, Spa Pedicure, Just 4 me facial, and shampoo and cut! They were all wonderful, but her favorite was the massage! Thanks to The Spa at Bear Cove Falls for a fantastic treat for my wonderful wife on this Mother’s Day Weekend! We will be back for sure!
Myself and 3 more of my female relatives visited today while on vacation here in the Smokies. Three of us had facials and one had a pedicure. All of us enjoyed ourselves and I am looking forward to visiting The Spa again on my next vacation in August.
My girl friend and I visit the Bear Cove location almost every weekend,since we live locally. The employees at the spa are fantastic,very professional,and responsive the giving you the most relaxing experience possible. Whether it is a massage,pedicure,manicure,or a haircut,I would recommend this location as opposed to any in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. Thank you for making our experiences enjoyable. We will see you again next weekend.
The couples massage was absolutely amazing. Beautiful, relaxing & clean Bear Creek Falls location. We will definitely return and also recommend it to those renting our properties.

My husband and I visited the spa on our honeymoon for a deluxe couples massage. The massage was excellent, and the cheese and fruit tray was very nice. The only reason we didn’t give the Spa 5 stars is because we arrived on time but then had to wait 30 minutes, which was annoying. Overall we would probably use them again when we are in the area.
My wife and I just had our 2nd Deluxe Couples Massage and it was excellent. The Massage was exactly what we expected as was the Hot Tub and food tray provided. The atmosphere and staff at the Spa at Pine Mountain was great. I’d definitely recommend to others and look forward to a return trip. Thanks!

My husband and I booked a Deluxe Couples Massage online at The Bear Cove Falls location. Our experience was wonderful! We arrived and loved the atmosphere of the spa. Everything was extremely nice and welcoming. Our last couples massage was several years ago, long overdue for another! We both enjoyed relaxing the herbal bath first before our massage. It really did allow us to unwind and enoy the fresh fruit, chocolate, and cheese before our actual massage. We both loved receiving our massages and would recommend this spa to anyone. We would definitely return on our next trip to Pigeon Forge. Thank you so much for making our trip more relaxing and memorable!

My husband and I had the Deluxe Couples Massage with dessert/cheese tray and bath afterwards, which was followed by pedicures. We both enjoyed our massages very much and the tray/bath time. We were not pleased with our pedicures though. My feet were still rough and so were my husbands after we left. They were a very friendly staff and very professional. We will definitely do the massages again next time we go to Pigeon Forge, but I would imagine we would skip the pedicures.
I thoroughly enjoyed my half day at the Spa at Bear Cove. The place is spitless & beautifully decorated. My massage with Angie, facial with Lacinda & mani-pedi with Pat were all very professional & nicely done. I would definitely recommend this spa to area visitors!
We had the Deluxe Couples Massage follwed by the Just For Me Facials at the Spa at Bear Cove Falls and it was the best 3 hours of our vacation! It was my first massage and I loved it. The staff was professional and the overall atmosphere was very relaxing. We will be making this spa a regulare part of our future trips!

We are so glad we chose the Spa at Bear Cove Falls for our girls’ trip. My daughter and I spent 3 hours doing a mud wrap, swedish massage, and facial. WOW – the service we received was extraordinary! The staff was very very friendly and so courteous, taking care to ensure our privacy. I’ve visited many spas throughout the US and this was as good or better than any of them! If you have the mud wrap – ask for the chocolate – my daughter said she wanted to eat her arm it smelled so good! Thanks so much for giving us an awesome, relaxing time. We’ll be back.
My husband and I got a couples massage at Bear Cove, it was great! I loved that they had a shower there for us to rinse all the oil off after the massage as well. The girls were very thorough with their massage and very nice! I’d have to say it was probably the best massage I have ever had!

I had a massage and it was excellent. I beleive because he is visionaly impaired his sense of touch compensates for the visual loss and makes his massage unique and like no other. I have had massages all over the world and often. He is by far one of the best and whenever I am in Pigeon Forge he is the one I request. You will not be disappointed. He’s exceptional as well as professional!

This was the first time we visited The Spa and our girls trip was complete because of it. They were very professional and were attentive to our needs. The Dollywood Lane location was convenient and well stocked. We had the hour swedish massage and the Special Just for Me facial. We went to the spa for the deluxe couples massage with tub and tray add on. It is our honeymoon and it was a great way to relax away the stress of work we left behind. The tub and try andd on was very romantic. We would go again if we come back to this area.

My wife and I had a deluxe couples massage with the one hour hydrotherapy bath and fruit/chocolate fondue tray. This was the most relaxed we have ever been!!! The massage therapists were amazing and very professional. They go out of their way to make you feel like you are the only people there. The hydrotherapy bath was amazing!!! This was our first massage ever (myself & my Husband) we were made to feel so comfortable and relaxed. This Spa is so professional and discrete they take every precaution to make you feel so special like we were the only ones there it was Awsome. I am definitely coming back and would recommend this spa to all of my friends and family and have already. One of the best things we have ever done A’s a couple and we’ve been married for 18 years. I recently visited the spa at Bear Cove. My husband booked me a full day of relaxation, and i must say the staff, the facility and accommadations were outstanding! When i left that evening I felt very nice and my skin was silky from the sugar rub I enjoyed the sugar rub so much I went and purchased some for me to do at home:)I would like to take this opportunity to thank April, Angie, Pat and Nancy for not only their professionalism and skill..but the kindness and hospitality that they showed me. I will definately reccommend this spa to my friends and family!

my daughter and sister and I came and had a wonderful time.Never in my life have I felt like I did with the “salt glow” Im 45 and its was the greatest feeling. I would skip the ped wasnt professional but everything else was great. We were at the bearcove spa looking forward to trying the pine mountain.also rented the cabin they offer very clean,easy to get to it was perfect also had a wonderful weekend and since we are coming from knoxville we will do this often.
My best friend and I both had a one hour Swedish massage and one hour facial at the new location. We arrived a few minutes late because of the traffic in Pigeon Forge. The staff was very accommodating and the massages and facials were wonderful! I thought they might have to cut it short because we were the last clients of the day, but they stayed and made sure we got what we paid for. Truly wonderful experience! We will be back! Memphis, TN

Had a couples massage with hydrotherapy bath at The Spa at Bear Cove. It was wonderful. The room was the perfect temp, the bath was nice and big and relaxing and the fruit and chocolate tray were delicious. No complaints here!

Your facility was very accomodating to me and my husband who was not getting any services. We both used the steam shower and then in your lovely soft white robes, sat outside and had a tray of fruits and cheese. Lovely way to spend some time together. THANK YOU!
We received the Deluxe Couple’s Massage and the Body Detox at the Bear Cove. WOW! I had never had a massage before though my wife had. It was amazing. The staff was great. When we return, we will definitely request the same people. The amount of time given, the romantic environment, the lack of rushing was perfect. Next time we will come with more money…perhaps facial, 4 hand massages…who knows. Great place!
My husband and I had the Deluxe Couples Massage on Monday, May 17th. He had never had a massage and this was only my second. The amount of pressure used was perfect! I agree with the other poster about the only downside… It ended! I would definitely come to The Spa at Bear Cove Falls again!
My husband and I booked the deluxe couples massage during our 10 year wedding anniversary trip to the Smokies. I was a little nervous going to the Bear Cove Falls location because it seems the main location is Pine Mountain. However, it was beautiful and we had a wonderful experience. Everything was relaxing and the staff was very professional. We loved our massages and the deluxe add-on was wonderful. The cheese, crackers, fruit and fondue tray made it very special. The only thing I noticed was that there was not a fireplace in our room, however it was 90 degrees out that day so it wasn’t a big loss. I highly recommend the spa and hope to return.

I had a 90 minute Swedish massage this morning. I have massages often and this was the most amazing massage I have ever had!! The worst part of it was when it ended! I also had a pedicure. It was very relaxing. Both the masseur and nail tech were amazing and very professional. Thank you for a wonderful day! I will be back

We had the Deluxe Couples Massage. The Swedish Massage was definitely relaxing as well as the bath, but the massage itself was really nothing more than a body rub more than really working out any of the knots and tension in my back. Additionally the massage only lasted 45 minutes and not an hour. The bath and tray was a very nice added bonus. Staff was very nice and professional and was a great atmosphere.

On The massage pressure issue: We do not pretend to be perfect or can we know what each persons preference is without communication. Our Policy (on our Website and the Intake Sheets you signed before services)regarding clients responsibility bring any concerns during a service to the technicians immediately so it can be addressed at that time. Should have been utilized, and the minor concerns would have been immediately resolved. We hope your next visit, we can make your experience the most pleasurable Spa Experience you have ever had. My wife and I enjoyed the ‘deluxe couples massage’ very much. The wife enjoys massages regularly, I however have never had one. Both of us loved them! The staff was wonderful and the bath time was well worth it. We had a great time just relaxing and spending time together…just the two of us. I would recommend this to everyone!

My friend and I were looking for a day of relaxing and thats exactly what we got. The Bear Cove location was amazing. I have never felt so relaxed this was my first time getting a massage, manicure and pedicure and was a little nervouse at first, but the staff was amazing and made me feel completly comforatable. I have suffered from headaches since age 12. After going to the Spa, I have been headache free for 2 weeks now. This is great, since I use to get headaches everyday. Not only that, I was told I needed a joint replaced in my left thumb and now my pain is almost gone and I can move it. I am so glad my husband found The Spa in the phone book.

I made reservations for my bridal party and myself at Bear Cove, it was so easy, and I received a detailed itinerary for all of our services, as well as individual e-mails for each of my girls to review their services and technicians. I had a Swedish Massage and Just for Me Facial done, and both services exceeded my expectations. It was the best massage I have ever had, and the atmosphere was so meditative, it helped me to relax instantly. The facial was really geared toward my needs and my technician worked out all of the imperfections on my face and then offered suggestions for how to keep my skin feeling just like it did when I left the spa!

I ordered a Deluxe Couples Massage with Bath and add on Fruit Tray as a surprise gift for my husband. It was perfect. I booked online to the Bear Falls location with no problems. We arrived and waited in a lovely waiting room with soothing music. The massages were fabulous and very relaxing. We were then able to enjoy a hot jacuzzi bath, fruit and cheese tray, and doubles shower without ever feeling rushed. It was our own little get-a-way! I highly recommend this for anyone wanting a great romantic time with their loved one!

LOVED MY HAIR. Best ever, would highly recommend for your wedding. We had a spa day that morning and wedding hair the next day. Everything was wonderful. Best pedicure I have ever had.
